Electrolytic Zinc-Iron black
Processes  |  Zinc  |   Zinc-iron  |  Cataphoretic paints  |  Protecto C

An electrolytically applied zinc-iron coating improves appearance considerably and ensures increased product value.

The attractive deep black colour greatly increases corrosion resistance. After a 360 hour salt spray test, the material tested exhibited a maximum of only 5 % white corrosion (DIN 50021).

The coating applied is UV resistant, which makes the material eminently more suitable for outdoor use. This treatment is carried out on racks. Other finishes on request.

Besides traditional processing, LGTB also offers solutions that conform to the ELV Directive (Cr6+ free).

  • Mechanical engineering: to increase corrosion resistance and as a base coat for powder coating

  • Automotive: to increase corrosion resistance and improve the appearance of various components

  • Interior: to increase the aesthetic value
